Bohol Wonder Lagoon Resort is one of the newest resort hotel in the Alona beach area in Panglao. It only opened last January 2010. The resort has 8 deluxe rooms and 6 suite rooms. The resort has been very popular for Korean tourists. And since the resort is in the Alona beach area, the powder-white sands of Panglao and its turquoise water is just a short walk away.

Bohol Wonder Lagoon Resort has the biggest swimming pool in the Alona beach area. It also has slides, a kiddy pool, waterfalls and a man-made cave. On top of that, the resort hotel’s restaurant offers a variety of cuisine.

Playa Blanca boasts of no-frills resort right along Alona Beach. It has native cottages that are in simple design but still a good deal. Most rooms can accommodate 3 persons with double bed and a single bed inside and equipped with a clean bathroom.

At a daily rate of 800 (fan) to 1500(aircon), the price is already cheap for a resort in the Alona beach area in Panglao. This resort is best for those who only need a place to stay and don’t need other amenities. The best part of it is that the beach is just outside the resort.
