This is really pretty!
The Philippines truly is very much comparable to world tourist spots/resorts. (But I honestly think we have an edge!)
Cheers,

This is a beautiful site. The fact that I’m sitting in Canada in February makes it a little depressing to visit though. I guess as long as I don’t look outside it is not as painful. All the best.

I stayed in this resort last month for 2 weeks! it was one of the best resorts i have ever been to…Hans is a great man and will for sure be back again soon…its well worth the 500Php entrance fee..some people complain about the fee but rest assured its well worth it! but if you cant afford the 500php to get in then you need to go to a free resort.
500Php is Not bad for being in the lap of luxury…

I agree with Otto. The place is nice (not much to do though), but VERY poorly managed. The owners have no clue of running a hotel… in example: they have a mediocre “German” resto run by a CHINESE chef. A pity!
July 8th, 2009 - 11:49
so true. we spend a few days there. The staff is great and very accomodating. BUT IT IS TRULY BADLY MANAGED!
July 8th, 2009 - 12:01
Must be true!
Scroll up. The management calls us “guys’! That sounds very unprofessional. Would the management of the Hyatt or Shangrila do that??? siraulo tlga!
July 14th, 2009 - 01:09
true, the management of such a resort should not address their clientelle like bagpackers.
February 21st, 2010 - 14:42
why did you say guys that the resort is poorly managed unprofessional management?
March 3rd, 2010 - 16:00
This is a family owned resort so do not expect a hotel like demeanor. You are in the middle of an island….I love the fact that the staff are local people with their local filipino traits, courteous, shy and soft spoken…If you want a hotel like atmosphere go to shangrila or hilton in cebu..Love this place, quiant, private and secluded…

I have visited the hotel a couple of times. The ambiance is very nice but I think they need to improve the food aspect. People on vacation want to eat good food.
May 12th, 2010 - 12:13
Dayna. Yes, it is a family-owned resort, but why should oneI not expect the professional service of a 5-star resort? There is no excuses for the poor managemant, after all, it has 5-star prices!
