Helmut’s Place

Helmut place is very pleasant little resto-bar with excellent service from the owner and attentive friendly staffs. Located on the corner of the entrance to Alona Beach lies this quaint little Bar & Restaurant is a popular stop over for those looking for dinner and beers. It sits just across the street from Paragayo Beach Resort. This bar and restaurant is owned and operated by a German Chef who happens to be an avid big biker. He’s a member of Bohol Bikers Club. Helmut’s Place is one of the only few bars and restaurants that are open until the wee hours in the morning.

Best German Foods in Town

Though Helmut’s Place is well known for “last” drinks in the late night, its food is also one of its popular draws. They mainly serve western foods particularly German cuisine. Servings are big and with first class ingredients. Helmuts’s home-made bratwurst is one of its popular dishes. Another popular offerings here are Helmut hambujrger, cordon blu, pork medallions and crispy prawns.

Aside from great food and drinks, the place is a favorite hang out for locals and tourists because of its quiet and relaxed atmosphere. There’s also a free Wi-Fi, billiard table and table soccer. To top it off is the excellent service from the all-Filipina crew who are all beautiful and accommodating.
