Snorkelling and Scuba Diving far away from the mass tourism
The Polaris Dive and Beach Resort is a destination for divers and nature’s enthusiasts searching for first class dive spots away from overcrowded areas and commercialisation. For these reasons we pay special attention to keep the diving groups on our boats small (maximally six to eight divers). To ensure that you can really enjoy your dives, we attach great importance to safety, service and the complete satisfaction of our guests.

Before the dive begins, we inform you about special conditions of the actual dive site, the underwater fauna and flora and the specific safety guidelines. Whenever possible we try to fulfil your personal requests. By the way: in addition to German we also speak English and French.

Polaris Beach and Dive Resort features rooms in a cottage-style facility. Our spacious accommodation come in five categories and will make everyone’s stay comfortable. Combining a distinctive sense of style with unparalleled personal and friendly service, Polaris Beach and Dive Resort offers guests an ambience that is exciting and refreshing.

Tree House - Centauri, Saturn and Uranus
Do you dream of life in a tree house? Here you have a chance to make it real. Built up in the coconut trees the pleasant rooms await the adventuresome guests and the nature’s enthusiasts. The Tree Houses are built in a native style and have a veranda with view of the whole facility. The bath is laid out with tiles and a ventilator exists in the rooms.

Standard - Mars and Neptune
These bungalows have been built in a tasteful, tropical island style and are offered at extremely affordable rates. The accommodations have own bathroom with toilet and shower, tile floors, fan or aircon. The veranda equipped with hammock invites you to relax and enjoy the moments completely undisturbed.

De Luxe - Milkyway and Polaris
The new spacious De Luxe bungalows have been built in 2007. The De Luxe accommodations features own bathroom with toilet and shower (seaparted), tile floors, aircon, double bed and veranda.

Superior - Jupiter, La Luna, La Terra and Venus
These spacious rooms features large bath- and living rooms, providing comfort with air condition to keep room temperature at a comfortable level, fan, tile floors and relaxing terrace. All superior rooms are equipped with a common solar water heating system.

Family House - Pluto and Mercury
If you are travelling with friends or your children the Family House is ideally suited for you and accommodates up to 4 persons. It is a two storey bungalow which offers every comfort: spacious living- and bath rooms, two large terraces, tile floors as well as adjustable air condition.

How to Get to Cabilao Island

Arrived at Cebu City you got different possibilities to transfer to Cabilao Island. The resort can arrange the direct transfer for you. Or, if you would like to come on your own, you can reach Cabilao Island either via Argao or Tagbilaran.

Organized transfer
Contact the resort early enough and they will organize the direct transfer to Cabilao Island for you. All you have to do is come to Cebu City. You will be picked up at the airport in or the harbour by their staff and brought directly to Polaris Beach and Dive Resort on Cabilao Island.

Individual trip via Tagbilaran Individual trip via Argao
Daily comfortable fast ferries like the Ocean Jet (Pier 1) and the Weesam Express (Pier 4) operate from Cebu City to Tagbilaran, the capital of Bohol. Upon arriving catch either a bus or a taxi direction Tubigon until Mocboc (Sandingan Island). Arrived at Mocpoc, an outrigger boat brings you to the neighbour island Cabilao. On Tuesday and Saturday you can ride the public bus (south bus terminal) or a taxi, from Cebu City along the east coast of Cebu Island to Argao respectively the beach of Looc (100km, travelling time: approximately 2 hours). From there an outrigger boat will bring you directly to the Beach of Cabilao Island. This trip will last 45 minutes.

Another possibility is to fly with a domestic Airline from Cebu to Tagbilaran or Manila to Cebu. It is advisable to book the flight in time. Note that the all-over travel time including check-in and check-out takes longer than the one described with the Supercat.

Hint!
However you should not forget to take a sweater with you, because the ferry and the airplane are usually very well air-conditioned.
