This resort is located in Barangay Danao, Alona beach, in a lush tropical garden setting. only 5 minutes walk from the sea and 20 minutes walk from the famous Alona beach in the island of Panglao, Island Bohol. This is the perfect place for family vacations honeymooners or for people that just want to relax in a quiet, private, lush tropical paradise. The resort boasts of two secluded and comfortable Lumbungs (traditional native Philippine style Balinese rice barns.)
The Alumbungs is a small tropical garden approximately 25 minutes away from Tagbilaran and five minutes ride from the renowned Alona Beach. The special shape of the nippa roof villas is derived from the typical Balinese Lumbung structure where the upper part of each hut served as a rice barn and the bottom part as a meeting place for the family. The Alumbungs upper floor brings you a spacious tropical room and the ground floor perfect for lounging around or preparing a meal in our fully furnished kitchens. Relax and enjoy living in a different pace of life.
Perfect for a week-end retreat or a few weeks diving or exploring the island, the cottages are Asian inspired. These 60sqm native-modern houses are all tiled at the ground floor, while the first floor has mahogany. Sleeping is done upstairs in an ultra rustic bedroom under the steep soaring arch of the lumbung roof, while the ground floor is reserved for the kitchen, bathroom and lanai where you can take a rest in your own native hammock.
Bedrooms have two double beds and a fan. The kitchen has a refrigerator, 2 burner electric stove, and all the essentials for you to prepare a meal. A small menu is also available on request. Free High-Speed wireless internet is also available throughout the property for all guests.
