Bohol Beach Club is nestled on the island paradise of Panglao and is the perfect haven for romantic getaways or a seaside sanctuary for beach lovers and scuba diving enthusiasts. A few minutes away is Balicasag Island, a popular dive site for local and foreign divers which offers world-class diving and is internationally renowned. Bohol Beach Club boasts of their 1.4 km beachfront with powder-white sand dotted with hammocks where guest can sit back, rest and enjoy the beach. It truly is one of the best and upscale beach resorts in Panglao Island. Beach front is clean and well maintained and resort staff are very accomodating. The Resort also prides of three (3) swimming pools that are properly situated within the resorts Amihan and Habagat Wing. The main swimming pool is located right next to the Kalubihan Restaurant in the Habagat Wing.  This pools depth ranges from four feet to seven feet which is also used for in-house diving lessons.  Also, the pool has an outdoor jacuzzi with a capacity for four (4) persons. Another pool is located in between the Superior Poolside rooms and the Executive Suites.  This lagoon shaped pool has a depth of three (3) feet to five and a half (5 ½) feet. The newest swimming pool, the largest in the resort is located in the Amihan Wing of the resort.  Surrounded by the Agotata and Taclobo restaurants, right next to the Standard Rooms, it’s the size of half of an olympic size pool and has a depth of three (3) feet to five (5) feet. Chocolate Hills, the 1,268 limestone hills of Bohol was the most awaited tour
we had. We really expected a breath taking and fun sight seeing…and the “hills” didn’t fail us. Chocolate Hills are exceptional…. we were surprised at how many tourists there were, but considering this was a bit like a tourist spot, we shouldn’t have been surprised. We really had a great time finding ourselves to be flying on top of the chocolates =)

On our way back to the city, we got off at hanging bridge to take pictures then walked along on it. It was bloody scary, never been scared of heights like that before. The swaying of the bridge made it harder for me to ignore the heights. Yet, i still managed to cross and found there the “Buco King” who was once featured in tv to be the fastest guy to peel Buco using his teeth, too bad i wan’t able to take pictures. We hung out there for a while to take a break.

From there it took us another 15 mins drive to Clarins residence. The ancestral house that was preserved and became a museum of the old way ofl ife in Bohol. My uncle was so persistent to show us the Clarin’s house because according to him, it was the best replica of my grandparent’s house in Candijay… it wasn’t preserved though…. =(
